Join us for a transformative spiritual practice as we journey throughout the month of Elul. We invite you to make a commitment to yourself and to our group, as we support one another in this daily practice. Commitment to Practice: We encourage you to create a sacred space in your home, clear your calendar, and fully engage in this practice. Through this dedication, we aim to cultivate inner peace and a personal sanctuary. Focus for the Season: Elul is a time to reflect on and repair our interpersonal relationships in preparation for Yom Kippur. In a world fractured by conflict, trauma, polarization and disconnection, this practice offers a way to sooth and regulate the self, soften the edges and ultimately to find balance and healing in our lives and communities. Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel (20th cent) wrote, “Prayer is the house for the soul.” Together as we sit in silence, with the guidance of our teachers, and with the wisdom of our ancestors, we will cultivate and listen into that special inner space, that sanctuary. We look forward to sharing this space with you and fostering a deeper sense of unity and peace. We will have various guests from around the world leading the meditations.
